The Hotel was just across from the train station, very convenient for visiting Sonneberg and other towns of South Thueringen. Lauscha is beautiful and famous for glassware. The Hotel was very modern and clean, the buffet breakfast was good, and the staff friendly. It wasn't as easy as I'd hoped to get an evening meal as it had to be booked before 5.30pm each day and I never knew whether I would want it or not as I was meeting up with friends elsewhere. Otherwise: great! Good value, especially for a single.

This hotel is in a great location, close to stores along the road and within walking distance of all the sights in the village. the service is friendly, the room is clean and updated with a nice rain shower head in the bathroom. the breakfast is simple but adequate and there is a great coffee machine available for use.

The room can be quite small and the bed configuration may not be as advertised.

The breakfast was good, with a decent variety of food, including fresh rolls and cold cuts. the staff was also friendly and helpful, which made our stay more pleasant. the room was kept clean and tidy, with regular cleaning service.

Our experience at the hotel was disappointing overall. the location of the hotel was quite inconvenient, as it was far away from town center and the pictures online were misleading.

Conveniently located right next to the train station, which made getting there and around very easy. The buffet breakfast was also pretty good, with a decent selection of sweet and savory items. The room was also clean and neat.

The town itself was a huge disappointment, with hardly any restaurants or things to do on the weekends. Our hotel restaurant was also closed, which was a real pain.
